AMD Ryzen 9 Threadripper released



2017 has been a great year for AMD so far, they have launched their new CPU lineups. Ryzen 3,5 &7 line processors which had already hit the market and able to make a great influence in the market. These Ryzen lineups are doing great and AMD is not stopping there. The Red Team now have come out with its top-end chips which are insanely powerful and overclockable. They named the chip Ryzen 9 Threadripper X-branded chips.

AMD Threadripper processors 1920X and 1950X are released on the same date of August 10.

AMD Ryzen 9 Threadripper chips  features up to 16 cores and 32 threads for 1950X which will be the top of the line chip for Threadripper family and its younger sibling 1920X is featuring up to 12 cores and 24 threads. As far the rumors are concerned the Ryzen Threadripper 1950X can run at a base clock speed of 3.4ghz and a boost up to 4ghz and it’s younger sibling 1920X will also run at base clock/boost of 3.5/4.0ghz of speed.

To make some comprehensive review, Intel’s top of the line core i9 7960X which is features up to 16 cores and 32 threads like that of Ryzen Threadripper 1950X. As far as the performance is concerned both chips performs blazingly fast and unmatched performance.  1950X and 1920X will cost around 1000$ and 800$ respectively which is pretty cheap compared to its competitors. Intel Core i9 7960X and 7920X respectively which costs around 1700$ and 1200$.

With the new top of the line Ryzen chip, AMD  decides to go with the new socket. This is done to support the chip’s blazing performance and fully support the higher cores numbers functionality. AMD named it TR4 socket which is freaking giant.

AMD has been shadowed for many years and now they have really shown up in this 2017 by introducing their Ryzen line processers. Now they are in the real competition in chipset business with Intel after a long time. With this new Ryzen Threadripper, AMD can dominate the microprocessor chip market in coming days.
